Show Information

To enter your cat in the show, submit the following to the entry clerk.

  • A completed summary form    US Form   Canadian Form
  • A completed entry form (via TOES) for each cat you're entering.
  • Payment for the amount owed. All payment must be in US dollars and must be received no later than 8 PM on the closing date December 8, 2024.

Show Hours:   Saturday check in 7:30 to 8:30, show starts at 9am. Sunday check in 8:00 to 8:30, show starts at 9am.

HCM Clinic - Click here for information on the clinic. A deposit is due to reserve your space(s). By paying this deposit you agree to pay the balance in cash, to the vet, at the clinic, whether or not you bring a cat. Cat must be entered into the catalog as an entry or exhibition only.

Kitten and Cat Birthdates:  Kittens born August 14, 2024 but not earlier than April 13, 2024 for Saturday Kittens born August 15, 2024 but not earlier than April 14, 2024 for Sunday

Juniors  We will have a junior program. A junior discount is offered at the rate of one cat per junior exhibitor. Junior must be named on the summary sheet.

Please plan to stay the full posted hours.  We all want to enjoy the show.  For people flying in – plan 1 hour to get to Seattle Tacoma Airport

Anyone leaving before the scheduled times or before judging is completed must get show manager approval to retain any awards.

Show Hall:    Our show hall is the Grays Harbor Fairgrounds in the Exhibition Hall at the Pavillion.

Food: Fair Concessions will be open

Recreational Vehicles:the RV spaces at the Elma Fairgrounds are very nice and include power and water. They do not have sewer hook-ups. The rate is $30.00. Email show manager for more information.

Supplies:  Litter will be provided.  If you will need litter at a hotel – please let us know.  Please bring your own cat boxes and dishes

Airports:  The closest airports are Seattle Tacoma International (SeaTac) (SEA) and Portland International (PDX).

Benching:  Double cage size is 21 inches deep, 44 inches long, and 21 inches high.  This is a bring your own cage, show. If you are travelling and want a wire cage, please contact the entry clerk.  One adult cat or two kittens allowed per single cage space.  Personal cages are welcome.

All exhibitors will be assigned benching.  Benching requests MUST clearly indicated on the summary sheet or in TOES, and we will honor those requests as best we can.  No benching positions can be changed without the permission of the show management.

Grooming Spaces:  This is a huge hall so grooming spaces will be plentiful.

TICA Scoring:  This show is scored for TICA Regional and International Awards.  All shows at this time due to the pandemic are considered to be under the Isolated Area rules for scoring and titles.

Registrations:  All cats and kittens must be registered in order to qualify for regional and international awards.  They will be allowed to be shown if they show that they have applied for registration or if it can be documented that they can be registered.  

Health:  This is a Non-Vetted Show.  All entries should be vaccinated against Feline Enteritus, Rhino and Calici Virus and test negative for FELV.  Rabies vaccination is required in the State of Washington.  It is advised that you bring your rabies vaccination records.  Application of the law is subject to the enforcement by the reporting officer.  All cats must have all claws, front and back clipped.  If not they can be disqualified by the judges.  Adult household pets must be neutered or spayed.  Any cats showing evidence of fleas, ear or fur mites, fungus or illness will be removed from the show hall.  In case of disqualification by a veterinarian, the TICA rules require all other entries owned or agented by the responsible exhibitor will forfeit their place in the show hall and must be removed as well. 

Show Rules and Liability:   This cat show is licensed, sanctioned and scored by The International Cat Association.  It is subject to their Bylaws, Show Rules and Breed Standards.  Those are available from the TICA Executive Office at P.O. Box 2684, Harlingen, Texas 78551 as well as being posted on the TICA Website http://www.tica.org .  By entering the show all exhibitors agree to abide to the decisions of the Show Committee and the Judges.  Commencement Cat Club, its members, TICA, the S.W. Washington Fair Grounds, its staff and representatives will be held harmless for any damages, claims, losses, etc. of/to any exhibitor and his/her entries.
