To compete on Sunday only, a kitten must have been born on or before February 15, 2025. To be allowed in the show hall, kittens must be 3 calendar months old — must have been born on or before March 14, 2025. JUNIORS:If you have a Junior, please let the entry clerk know. Juniors registered with TICA get a $75 discount. All other Juniors may compete in the Junior Class at regular entry rates REGISTRATION: For most registered breeds and household pets, registration with TICA is not necessary to compete in the cat's first show, but is required for the 2nd and subsequent shows, and for confirmation of championships and TICA regional and international awards. Contact TICA for specific registration procedures. CO-OWNERSHIP: Cats co-owned by members of two different households are eligible for the multi-cat entry discounts and a copy of the cat's TICA registration may be requested. The registration must show the names of both co-owners. EXHIBITION ONLY: Exhibition only cats do not need to be registered in the catalog. Please note, if the cat is not in the catalog, it cannot be moved into competition. BENCHING: If you list more than one request, only the first will be considered. The entry clerk will make every attempt to bench your cats per your request; however, the club does not guarantee that all benching requests can be honored due to space limitations and show hall configuration. Handicapped exhibitors will receive preferential and free end-of-row benching, if requested. All other end-of-row requests will be benched on a first-come, first-served, space available basis at a cost of $15. CAGES: Double spaces are 24" x 45" wide. Please ensure that you will have enough space to accommodate its width. If your cage is wider than 45", you may need to purchase additional space. The maximum depth for a personal cage is 24" deep; if your cage is deeper than 24", it will not fit on our 24" deep tables. Cages will be available for exhibitors. Please note that in TOES when you enter your cats. Per TICA rules, only one cat or two kittens per single cage, and two cats or four kittens per double cage. SHOW CATALOG: Printed show catalogs may be purchased at a cost of $15 each and must be pre-ordered and requested on the Summary Sheet. CLERKS & STEWARDS:If you would like to clerk please contact the Entry Clerk. Clerks will be paid $50 plus lunch, for each full day of clerking or one entry in a double for clerking the full show. Stewards will be paid $25 per day plus lunch. LITTER: FOOD: Concessions on site Recreational Vehicles:the RV spaces at the Elma Fairgrounds are very nice and include power and water. They do not have sewer hook-ups. The rate is $30.00. Email show manager for more information.Show Rules and Liability: This cat show is licensed, sanctioned and scored by The International Cat Association. It is subject to their Bylaws, Show Rules and Breed Standards. Those are available from the TICA Executive Office at P.O. Box 2684, Harlingen, Texas 78551 as well as being posted on the TICA Website http://www.tica.org . By entering the show all exhibitors agree to abide to the decisions of the Show Committee and the Judges. Commencement Cat Club, its members, TICA, the S.W. Washington Fair Grounds, its staff and representatives will be held harmless for any damages, claims, losses, etc. of/to any exhibitor and his/her entries. |
